Why do monitoring with FCS as opposed to simply using a Flash client?
Attached is an sample Flash client which does exactly that: it makes
repeated connection attempts and reports back to the server (via a standard
HTTP post) when a connection attempt fails . In my case, it actually posts
to a ColdFusion page which sends out an email alert.
It sounds very similar to what you're doing, but I like having this in the
client, because in reality I build the same logic into all my clients, so
if a connection attempt fails from a real user, it is logged in the same
manner.
