Back Hi group,
i just mulled over getter / setter methods in as 2.0. i made my first (small) oop experiences in java, where, afaik, the concept of getter / setter methods in unknown.
since i started with as 2.0, i haven't really got warm up with getters / setters, i still like to stick with setWhatever / getWhaterver.
Now question ist: - are there any bytecode dis- / advantages for one concept? - are there any code-design dis- / advantages for one concept? - why do other people (like you) use one or the other concept?
btw, i read an article some weeks ago, dealing with g/s and as 2.0. feeling lucky at google brings up this article [1], that deals with the 'problem' in java...which proves me wrong on java & g/s.
thanks & doei, malte
