Not that I'm aware of.

If homeskillet is just doing a audio broadcast, he can either do:

- SHOUTCast or something along the lines of that

That'd be live.  The other 2 are pre-recorded:
- Flash streams an mp3
- Flash streams an flv

I wouldn't worry about it till your users start complaining.  Course, I have
little experience in high-user count applications.  Most of the Flashcom
stuff I had did fine with 6; if your just downloading a file from a server,
I highly doubt you'll have issues.

Subject: RE: [Flashnewbie] Streaming video

Project requirements: stream(or psuedo-stream) audio and video. The client
will spend the money on the streaming server if need be but i dont want to
spend any more(of his) money than neccesary. At bsuiest his site has 200
listeners per day, that aint to bad unless they are all at 5:00pm

I read somewhere that http streaming has a limit of about 12 concurrent
users at a time. This wasn't a absolute limitation of the HTTP protocol just
a "its going to be reeeeaaaal slow and frustrating" type limitation.

Does FLV progressive download have a limit like this?

thanks
Pete
