Format an array

Format an array

Didn't mean for the advice to seem cold.  Genuinely trying to be helpful
while suggesting another way (in addition to searching the archives) that we
might avoid twice-weekly questions about asfunction, jpeg resizing, etc.

However, let it be noted that my very first post to this list was about jpeg
resizing :-)

It was shortly after that that I developed the opinion that I'd do better to
try whatever resources I can before calling upon the help of others.

That's good advice, but it also seems a little cold.  In Simon's defense,
while the answer can be found in Moock's book (which Simon may or may not
own), there is no index item or chapter title in his book called, "put each
item on a new line instead of using a comma" which was his question.  While
you may know his book quite well, and be well-versed in Actionscript, not
everyone knows where to look in Moock's book (or any other resource for that
matter) for the answer, even though he covers array methods quite well. This
list is for Actionscript questions, and I would hate to see it degrade to
"you really should check Moock's book before posting".  Just my opinion and
already OT, so that's all I will add to this thread.
