ok, i'm having a very strange issue. I created a media player slider a while
back that was ran off of a time created sol. basicaly, as the file plays the
time gets rewriten to the sol via set interval. this allows you to only view
up to that time in the media(meaning that you can only watch what you've
already watched). this works beuatifully here on my local machine. loving
it! it works great on other machines as well, no problems what so ever. you
close the window, reopen and you can view to what you've already seen to
your hearts content(sol is working!!!!yay!!!). reruns all day long.

now, after our lovely testing, product gets delivered. up on server, plays
fine and dandy, you can go back and go forward to places that have already
been viewed. close the window... and BAM!!! no el work o, you gotta start
all over again at the begining when you reopen the window(browser window).

testing it localy again, works great. i can move the play back and forth in
the time allowed. i close it, reopen, works great. i delete the sol, makes
you start from the begining like it's supposed to. the sol's are being
written. soooo why wont they work online? could it be server resetting,
maybe domain change? what could cause this?

has anyone ever had a problem like this? any ideas as to why?

any help or deriction would be highly appreciated.

thanks,
Bob
