I just read Kevin's book, and its truely full of bugs.
Theres a website with a couple of fixes, but it doesn't cover
all of them, not even the chapter of datamgmt. slots which
contains a heavy one.

Knowing this, i think its not a bad start. The exercises are
a good combination of using (modified) components and selfmade
stuff. It is also good to read, even for flash newbies it might be
understandable.

Though maybe i just say this with a lack of possibilities of comparison.
