Ok it basically create an streaming .swf that contain 16 variables  that
describe spectrum in each frame of streamed .swf you have possibility to
change frame rate and to ad some other parameters

So it do both on-fly and mp3-2-swf file .
If you do conversion for any request it crash your server,
You may convert .mp3 files to .swf in server file system that is not
streaming anymore but you should do fancy stuff?

Note I have been using this when it was freeware at 2000 - 2001 but now it
looks only to have an visual interface for offline editing?
Before it was cgi with command line? useful on server or client?

Visualisations in Flash ?

so if you have a ton of info going on, the EQ numbers and code that is being
exicuted else where.... would the info created by swiftmp3 slowdown the
applications? how exactly does it work? i've been debating wether or not i
want to buy this software if it will work well without killing the cpu.

> it has problems if you need 100 or more simultaneous connections .
now that makes sense with FC as well.

>server side cgi which converts the mp3 to swf audio format and extracts eq
data.

this does it on the fly? or do you have t o do it manualy through the
application? sorry about all the questions, i just like to see other
developers using software before i jump on and buy something i will use once
(just to play with to learn) and not get the chance to use it on a real
project.

Thanks for the demo too :D
