(me too) flickering hand cursor

(me too) flickering hand cursor

I have a similar problem.
http://www.angelmtn.com/flash/amp.htm //click on facility (opens in new
window)

A custom cursor replaces the mouse and when you hover over the rooms of
this facility they light up. Click on one of the rooms and then after it
loads click the "back to facility blueprint" button. Once you go back to
the blueprint you may find a weird anomoly happening with the custom
cursor where it flickers or jumps around on the screen. I have only seen
this on one computer so far - a mac running OSX.

If you have a minute, please test on your machine and let me know if you
experience this problem.

TIA
Pete

Thinking out loud, another thing is to toggle useHandCursor.  Even
though,
onRollOver it'll be true, and onRollOut, it'll be false, maybe toggling
it
causes an internal redraw and you'll get lucky?

I've see this all the time, but it sounds like a hardware thing to me.
If
your positive that ALL of their drivers are updated, then the only thing
I
can think of is a custom cursor.

At worst, try Flashcoders.

Subject: [Flashnewbie] flickering hand cursor

I've seen this problem before, but now that a client is mentioning it I
need to find a fix. So far we can replicate the problem on only one
computer. I have a pair of simple buttons, only one of which shows at a
time (they toggle back and forth). When my client mouses over one or the

other, he is seeing a flickering hand cursor nearby, in addition to the
hand cursor over the button.

Has anyone encountered this? Do you know what causes it to happen, and
how
to fix it?

Thanks!

Marc
