Don't name instances starting with numbers. Flash doesn't like that too much.

can anyone help me out here, I'm having these sytax errors going for me all
morning, it looks like I can't access anything outside the movieclip timeline
this is the error
**Error** Scene=conteudo, layer=Layer 158, frame=1:Line 1: Syntax error.
this.menu_mc.01_01_01_mc.gotoAndPlay("click");
and the code is only these line
( that is on the _root )
what should I look for here ?
my publish setting are flash 6 as 1
I'm puzzeled
