Controlling streams from server

Controlling streams from server

Hi

is it possible to have the server decide what stream the client gets to
view?

basically, we want to be able to play a short pre-recorded "welcome" movie
(.FLV) when a user first enters a room. As soon as this has finished playing
they are then automatically switched to the live stream.

then again, on disconnect (or if they are kicked out by the host) we want to
play a "goodbye" movie before disconnecting them.

it seems to me that the client is ultimately responsible for what it wants
to see and there is no way for the server to interrupt this and push
something different to them... true?

Cheers, Ben.
