Hello,
I'm new to Flashnewbie, so forgive me if this isn't the correct place to ask my
question.
If it isn't would you please direct me to the correct address-Thank You.
I  haven't learned how to write code yet-so what I am up to is manipulating key
frames at present.
My following question has to do with manipulating key frames.
My question:

What has to be done to have an object which is being guided
as a guide  layer serve as a mask for the object below it?

In other words I have this art work which is a vine and I 'm trying to make it
apper as if it is growing by reveailing parts of it slowly with a mask that is
guided.

I guess the question is: Is it possible to create a guide layer out of a mask
layer?

I think I tried everything, although I'm new to Flash and i have Flash4 I'll
mention, if that makes a differance.

Thank You,  fellow Newbie.
