animation and text feilds 2004-02-27 - By Dvaid Hawks
Back Hi List,
A couple of questions, first I some text dynamic text fields, which contain HTML txt and embedded fonts, which slide a cross the screen, when they side a cross the screen they blur as they are moving. I presume this is because the fields aren't on an exact pixel position, is this right?
Secondly the animation can appear jerky, is this because it's v procurer intensive to slide a text field? Optimization wise would it be best to slide something like a blank box and then to reveal the text field when the animation has stopped? Example at http://www.synoptikon.com/testing/txt_slide.html
Any help appreciated
