Hi there,
I'm hoping this is something simple.
My clients want me to grab the session ID when Flash first loads and
append it to the getURL string when my Flash buttons are clicked
(getURL("http://www.whatever.com?session=" + XXXX).
Can Flash grab the session variable from the page in which it is
embedded? Is it as simple as loading the URL into a LoadVars object and
then accessing the session variable as a property of that object? Will
this grab the CURRENT session? Do I need to know what the variable name
is in ASP or can I just write the Flash-side code to grab the session
variable regardless of what it's written in (PHP, CF, etc.)?
I'm sure they'll tell me what the variable name is in ASP, but I just
want to know if I can do this without hassling them.
