Back Greetings all on my first posted question to the list. ;]
Has anyone out there experienced a problem with setting shared objects?
I have constructed a 'password protected' section of a site for a client that is pretty much hacked along a clip's timeline.
Once a user has visited and entered the restricted content it sets a Shared Object with their username and password It has a series of stop(); keyframes after the password check frame to keep the user from advancing to the 'accepted' label unless they have entered one of the acceptable passwords.
I have actions after the 'accepted' label that will grab the username and password values from the shared object and email them to my client, along with how many visits they have logged.
Up until now, everything has worked fantastically.
Problem is, he has recieved several emails over the last few days that are logged as: username-anonymous, password-
Is there a problem setting shared objects on macs or machines behind a firewall in general?
It's got me stymied!
thanks in advance,
