Back Hi
Can anyone help me with this simple problem, it breaks my app and I think it
will break many app that are ported to the V2 architecture.
This is my usual way to stop a key from functionning:
Create a simple button, add that code to it:
on (keyPress " <Up > ") {
trace( " <Up > ");
1+1; //trick to disable the key
}
Download this really simple demo to test it:
http://www.lacaveprod.com/malartre/ProblemDemo/
It 's important because in my app I need to disable the UP and DOWN keys.
Button interception is my only known way to stop a key before it gets into a
textfield (for user input).
Thank You
