send()

send()

I would like to load a PHP page without opening it.  I'm NOT PASSING
any data to it, nor am I requesting data from it.  Everything the PHP
file needs to know is in the URL itself.  SO I figured the following
would work:

on (press){
  send("http://www.mysite.com/webcams/flashindex.php?
op=addroom&room=SENDTEST", "", "POST");
}

... all this does is tell my CMS system to log me into into a room if
it does not exist.  The php checks if the roomname exists, if I'm in it
already etc.  By loading this page first it simply informs the DB that
I have entered the room (the php page already knows who you are logged
into the CMS as and uses that username to enter into the DB).

However this doesn't seem to be working (it does when typing directly
to the browser URL so I'm doing something wrong in Flash).

Suggestions?

PS: I definately do not want to load this page, it is a blank page and
is only meant for me to pass and get data from.  Getting data is easy,
for some reason I can't get it to just send an url and be done with it.

Sincerely,
Simon
