Back I too saw a short demo by Macromedia today and Breeze was a big part of it (it wasn't version 4 however).
I don't understand how Breze has made it to version 4 so quickly? How old is this product? By the way the presenters went through almost every MM product that's out there but didn't mention FCS once. Not once. What the heck? They even went on about flex and that's not even released.
I got to say though that Breeze is impressive and I can see why MM can charge so much for it: a) anyone claiming they can build somthing equally fucntional in FCS is lying b) you get a lot for a lot of money :-) c) it really will save enterprises a lot of cash so will very quickly pay for itself
And a little moan on the 'develop and deploy to devices' front: Well I'd like to. Thing is there isn't a player for most phones, only PocketPC and iMode (very unpopular in Europe). What we need is a (even limited) Player for Nokia handsets at least. They already behave like mini PDA's and everyone carries them around - but not many peeps have PDS's... The templates are within Flash for the Nokia 3650 for example... but what's the point without a player?
I hate it that Macromedia never tells us what's around the corner... isn't there a club i can join? But I don't know if there will ever be a Player for these phones and if there will be are we talking months or weeks or what? Frustrating. For the time being we are concentrating on the 3gp video format, (mini) Realplayer already runs on Nokias you know... better not miss the train Macromedia.

Hey Justin, I'm not 100% done with the whiteboard yet! ;) You saw a demo, pre-release version. Thanks for the good words. :) Peldi
