Yesterday, I created a new swf for my project to check out some work I'd
done on Saturday. I discovered that the labels for my five graphs no longer
appeared. I have not touched the graphs for several weeks so none of the
recent changes should have affected the labels.
After poking around a bit, I discovered that the embedded font for the
graphs was no longer working. Deleting and creating a new version didn't
work either. Only after embedding a different font could I get it to work.
I have had the problem of interfering fonts in the past. For whatever
reason, I can only use one version of a font. For example, if I use 10 point
bold Arial, I cannot also embed 14 point Arial.
But I've never had an embedded font simply stop working.
Two questions:
Is there some bug with 2004 Pro that I'm unaware of?
Second, I'm assuming that once I have a compiled swf, I should not have to
worry about parts of my project no longer working. Is this correct?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
