Back Simple question:
Is it possible for the Flash Player to publish directly to another Flash
Player (if the IP address and whatever is known)?
-- ----
Reason why I 'm asking, if interested:
I 'm attempting to set up some kind implementation of the Flash
Communication Server with voice and video chat. I see right off the bat
that operating the video part is cost-prohibitive due to the bandwidth
required. So I wonder if the following compromise is possible:
Set up the video part to work only between clients in private chat (not
broadcast to the whole room). So, is it possible to do the video part
without going through the Flashcom server? I mean, the video chat request
would go through the server and the server would give the IP address of
the other client to each of the two clients, but then the two clients (two
Flash Players) would publish and play directly to and from each other.
So in short:
Is it possible for the Flash Player to publish directly to another Flash
Player (if the IP address and whatever is known)?
Thanks for your help.
