DateField component functionality

DateField component functionality

I am creating a form application which requires a field for a users
birthdate. I wanted to use the DateField component (which is a
combo-box with a DateChooser calendar component in it). However, there
doesn 't seem to be much navigational functionality in the component.
You can only advance by one month at a time. This make it useless for a
birthdate field as it isn 't good from a usability standpoint to make
someone born in 1950 to click the back button 12*54=648 times (assuming
a 2004 starting date).

Does anyone know of any other calendar components out there? I really
don 't want to have to have to use a textfield or comboboxes or anything.

Collin
