  | | | Internationalizing a user interface | Internationalizing a user interface

Back I am building a small user interface that can be displayed in multiple
languages. I want to create two ways of setting the language of the
interface. The first way is to set the language based on the language
settings in the operating system. The second way is to instantly switch to
the desired language when a user clicks a specific language button. The
language elements are kept in a set of XML files. One for each language. I
know that the new strings panel in Flash MX 2004 provide me some of the
functionality I am looking for. However I prefer to build it through coding.
Is there anyone who can provide me some "internationalization " and/or XML
code snippets that cover the functionality I am looking for.
Thanks
Vinny
