I can tell you first hand that Flash5 swf's can work with and load
Flash6 and Flash7 swf's in most cases, just fine.



The only thing I have found to create issues, with no real understanding
thus far, is the use of _global will sometimes muck up the parent flash5
swf..



MY question to you is: what can you NOT do in flash6/7 that you CAN do
in flash5?!



The only reason I still use flash5 swf's is because some of my projects
are simply too much work to re-engineer as flash6+ developments AND that
I still want to keep the flash5 swf parent for compatibility reasons
(about 10% of my logged visitors still only have flash 5,0,44 etc)

Dear colister i have a question for you, if i use a different swfs, ones
in swf flash mx and other ones in flash 5, they communicate and work
properly??? because i nedd to do something that in flash mx can not
