Utilizing metadata for object construction

Utilizing metadata for object construction

I came across an interesting idea at:
http://www.ftponline.com/javapro/2003_08/online/xml_gpieri_03_06_19/?q=rss

The article outlines a strategy for java programmers where an object is
created by the XML that passes the data for the object. And that the data
access methods are embedded in that same stream.

My command of OO is only such that I can glimpse - not grasp - the whole
picture and implications of this approach. It 's the kind of thing that, if
it were a tutorial written for Flash I 'd be able to explore and expand the
barebones outline the article presents.

Accept this humble suggestion that perhaps this is a worthy topic for senior
OO minds to flesh out for the benefit of the aspiring minds. At the very
least it 's an excuse to play with XML object creation imported to AS.

thankx
