Using Fonts from Library

Using Fonts from Library

Hi Sara,

There are two ways to solve this problem:

1) Embed font outlines using "Edit character options " from Text Property
Inspector.

2) Including a Font Symbol in your movies library and embedding the font at
runtime using TextField.embedFonts = true and TextFormat object.

You can look into Flash help, how to create Font Symbol and use it. If you
still have any doubts, feel free to shoot them here..

Regards,
Abdul

Subject: [Flashcoders] Using Fonts from Library

Hi Coders,

I am trying to use a font that is not available in end users '
machine. I am using the font in my Flash MX 2004 Pro. library and exporting
the complete movie that contains the fonts within it. The problem is, I
could not see the fonts/ contents in the documents to be made visible since
the fonts are not available in end users ' machine. Is there any work around
solution for this. Throw some light.

Cheers
Sara
