OK, dipping my toe back into OOP.....

I want to extend the Movieclip to have a new method/property called
_offStage this will work much the same as _visible.

Ie.

myClip._offStage=true;..sets _x=current x pos + 3000
myClip._offStageúlse;..sets _x=original x pos

I know how to do this in this fashion:

myClip.setOffStage(true)....as a method....but I want it to work as a
property. Like _visible, _alpha etc.

Is this possible? How? Or am I barking up the wrong tree here?

Cheers

M
