Flash Crashing IE, not Netscape

Flash Crashing IE, not Netscape

Hi all,

We have just started experiencing problems with Flash plugin on our site,
which uses Flashcom for the streaming video. We have un-installed and
reinstalled the flash player so we have 7,0,19,0 (latest version). Only
internet explorer crashes, and not netscape. The page it most often crashes
on can have anywhere from 0 to 10 identical flash files that take parameters
to determing what stream to play. All of those streams play at one time.
This works fine on Netscape, and has worked fine on IE up until a few weeks
ago when we started getting reports of peoples browser crashing when they
entered the site. I have searched long and far, and have not been able to
come up with a solution. I don't know if it is a bug in Flash Player, a
problem with IE, or something in my Actionscript in those movies that would
cause this to happen, and to happen randomly. Any ideas or pointers would be
greatly appreciated. This has been driving me crazy :)

Best Regards,

Mike Weck
