Back Hello everyone,
Have any of you ever come across extremely high latencies in a LAN environment? The application at hand works fine on our LAN and has also been tested on the Internet, but our client is reporting some serious problems with latencies in their LAN. Basically, every so often one of the client PC's (WinXP) craps out with huge latencies. You can see a screenshot of the problem here (watch wordwrap):

Looking at the downrates, both in the connection light and in the RxTx output, you can see that the crapped-out PC cannot receive any of the other streams. Apparently, the machine stays in this state indefinitely. The only way to pull out of it is by de-activating and re-activating the local feed.
It must have something to do with the client machines (I'm thinking that perhaps it's a camera driver issue).. because we had the server in our office, and it worked very well with our test PC's. Anybody ever seen this behaviour??
Thanks in advance, -Jorge
