Back No, I made them specifically to be AS2 compatible. While they are not in themselves written in AS2, they will work nicely alongside AS2 and won't run into any of the case-sensitivity or compatability issues. There shouldn't be any issues using the updated MX 2004 components with the Flash MX v2 components elsehwere in the movie.
