If the font exists as a Font Symbol in your library, then you don 't have to
drag a textfield to the stage to embed it. 'myTextField.embedFonts=true '
will work just fine.
Search for 'Creating Font Symbols ' in the Flash Help.

Yeah this life! I understand the principle of having to embed the font
somewhere, but then I don 't get the purpose of having the property
"embedFonts " in AS if you must embed them manually anyway.
