Back Hi all
I thought for sure that I could open a pdf file from a Flash Player or projectopr, not within a browser by using--
function map() { getURL("campmap.pdf","_new"); trace("test"); }
It seems that this only works from a browser. Is there any way to do this. In Authorware, there is a pdf extra that launches a pdf in acrobat. There is an fscommand() exec function that launches an exe but will not open a specific file within the exe. Is there any way to do this in Flash. This has to be PC and MAC compatible.
Any help will be appreciated
TIA
Allan
