  | |  | _height in actionscript 2 ? | _height in actionscript 2 ?
2004-02-18 - By Grant Davies
Back I 'm doing a new project in AS 2 and having a couple of issues..
If I do the following :
this.button = this.attachMovie( "005 invisibleButton ", "button ",
this.getNextHighestDepth());
this.button._x=0;
this.button._y=0;
trace( "this.button = " + this.button);
trace( "button height = " + this.button._height);
The button is attached correctly but the output window displays :
this.button = _level0.projectImage2.button
button height = 0
Can someone tell me what I 'm doing wrong, I expect the button height to
be 105 and to be able to access it via the _height property.
I have the same issue if I do loadMovie to load a jpeg from the file
system, the image loads and displays ok, but if I output something like
theImage._height I get "0 ".
I thought I used this in AS 1.0 all the time... Hopefully I 'm just being
dumb :)
Cheers
Grant
