Back
Since fading won?t occur for device fonts, what I do personally to have
non-aliasing text fading is to use bitmap fonts.
As you probably know, when properly sized and positioned, most bitmap fonts
won 't blur in Flash and therefore can be used to mimic the same results one
gets in browser text.

hey there:
i 'm sure this has been covered somewhere...but when i set the _alpha
of movieclips, enclosed textfields with system text aren 't being
faded.
am i missing something here?
also, i can 't seem to find an easily searchable archive of this list
(i would have just searched for the answer).
