MX and MX2004 embedded fonts

2004-02-13       - By Robin Evans

Hi,

I 'm working on an existing project developed in MX. I am using MX 2004 (as
you can 't seem to buy MX anymore). My colleagues can publish the movie and
have the 'Arial CYR ' cyrillic font embedded. When I try to do the same on
the exact same file in the same location, it doesn 't work. However it Does
work with 'Arial Greek '.

I know that the font embedding stuff was improved with 2004, so that it
seems to do what it claims, maybe the difference in approach is in compiling
the swf and not working for that reason.

Any clues as to why or how to get round it?
