Hi Gang. I have a good friend that was pretty high up the food chain at
Macromedia, but left in December. He moved on to a new venture and has a
question about Flash. I have my opinion, but would rather get an answer
from the experts: you guys. Here 's what he asked:

"We want to do some dynamic video authoring at design time. By that I mean
we have a bunch of photos, and we want to weave them together into a
slideshow with cool transitions and stuff. But we need to crank out hundreds
of these - just point to a set of pic 's, maybe an XML file with info about
them, and have this thing output a Flash or Quicktime file with the finished
show. How would you put that together? What combination of existing tech
and custom programming would get me there? Any thoughts? "

If you alF can help me respond, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,

Steve
