I am going out to buy whatever books exist on AS2 today, I promise...
I know I am supposed to use cellRenderer for my problem but i really do not follow the documentation. As soon as some clear talker like Phil Kerman or the like puts out a book that explains this in language that can afford to be a bit more verbose for us non-programmer types, I will be hitting myself in the head saying "Is that ALL it was!?!? " but until then:
might one of you good souls out there share a sample code that is needed to add a custom icon to both the begining and end of the lable in a list?
I need to dress up a list in a hurry. In the long run what I need is to be able to adjust the icons pixel postion within the list, the icons state (vistited, active, etc), even change the icon displayed based upon a users actions, but thats secondary.
On the same topic: What AS2 books are must haves for those of us that know AS but are new to OOP? I need some advice, and should it be needed, would gladly pay to play.
