Ämne: Typeface capability, translating issue
This is a question that do have with flash-development to do. So I hope I
wont be to offtopic.
A site that is produced is to be; except from english; to be translated to:
German Spanish Portugese Dutch Greek
The typefaces used is in this production Helvetica and FFF Star ( a
pixel-font from fontsfordlash.com )
How can I see whether these fonts supports all chars in the German language,
and if it supports Spanish.. And so on.
The Greek languge will of course be the largest problem.
The site now is having the text-data in xml-files that are utf8 and
cdata-formatted.
So the questions are.
1. How can I see whether a typeface supports a specific language 2. If I
need to change font in order to support Greek (or perhaps for any other
language)
is there an easy way to do this ? Or what different ways can this be done
?
Ps, this is a flash 6 production built in flash MX.
The threads I found in the archive seems mostly to be answers that raised
more questions,
And I couldnt find out what was the final solution to this well-known hard
working progress.
