Back please dont take this the wrong way, i 'm only confused and a little
frustrated. it 's hard to see some of the macromedia people and other
well knowledged people chime in and offer some well useful advice for
some tough questions and have my same questions i 've been asking for a
month over and over be ignored. maybe i 'm doing something wrong. i dont
know how i sound when i ask questions. (small caps offend most people? i
write in small caps for the opposite effect of all caps.)
i 've been asking questions about the tree component since i joined this
group a little over a month ago. they started out being simple, so i
thought, "how to add a node ", "how to drag and drop a node ", "how to
move a node ", simple i thought. but i didn 't get any responses. so i
finally figured most of it out through workarounds with the adding
removing and moving nodes in the xml objects rather than the tree
component. which would have been nice to know this when i started.
a simple hint, "hey judah, whatever functions you dont see built into
the tree component can be accomplished by manipulating the xml. what you
do to the xml you do to the tree. " i dont know, something like that
would have been nice.
i thought i was asking hard questions. so i 've been simplifying. instead
of "how do you... " i 've been asking, "is it possible to... ". still i
dont get any responses. maybe these are questions only a macromedia
person can answer? i dont know, how do i get more help? i 'm confused and
a little frustrated. if i 'm not helping enough it 's because i dont know
myself what to answer.
