Which Way do I Go?

Which Way do I Go?

Hello All. I am at a jumping off spot right now in terms of investing my
time in new Flash technolgies. I am an advanced ColdFusion Developer and
have modest skills in Flash. I want to move into doing more dynamic data
driven Flash applications, but am totally dumbfounded by the amount of
choices out there. Herein lies my problem:

Do I go down the Flash Remoting path and leverage my strengths in CF?
What are the weaknesses of Remoting? Is it stable? Are there plans for
Macromedia to drop it any time soon?

OR

Do I bone up on XML and do all of my Flash Data Apps with the XML
Connector thingabob?

OR

Do I pursue the Web Services arena for all my Data driven Flash apps?

Any sage wisdom, advice or insight would be welcome at this point. I
can 't afford to waste my companies time and money betting on the wrong
horse.

Many Thanks!
