Location: Your home/office, but in the tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT) for
occasional meetings.

Compensation: Competitive contract-based cash compensation, with the
opportunity for full-time employment, bonus and equity compensation.

Company Overview:

My client is an early-stage startup founded by entrepreneurs and senior
executives from the financial services and e-commerce industries.  Their
vision is to become a leading technology platform company with an initial
focus on electronically traded markets.

They are seeking an ambitious ActionScript Developer with 3-5 years
programming experience - and a natural sense of beauty -- to build a
real-time, cross-asset alternative trading system.

Required Skills:
* Experience designing modular, object-oriented ActionScript Flash
applications
* Experience developing GUI's for trading applications
* Background in C++ or Java
* Familiarity with data driven applications on Linux and Windows
* Strong interest in user interface design
* Interest in high-performance network-based applications
