They only want to demonstrate the "range" of the aircraft. They want the
Flash placed on this page:

To be honest, my impression is that they want Flash because it would
make the page feel "cool". Although I agree that Flash is great when
it's used in the right context...I'm not convinced that this is the
right place for it. They originally provided me with this example -

<http://www.uyjaviation.com/learjet.htm> - as a base idea. Obviously,
I'm not going to "steal" this idea - but they wanted me to design
something similar. I don't see the benefit to providing anything similar
to that example...it doesn't really "do" anything.
The range of the aircraft is listed at 2640 miles & that's the only
"fact" they want conceptually demonstrated. Canjet used to be a
commercial airline; but now they are only offering airplane charter
services. The types of businesses that will be engaging their services
are private companies & partners such as 'Sunquest' and 'Transat
Holidays'. The CanJet website isn't for the general consumer anymore
(although it was up until a few months ago).
I'm stumped. I've thought of using a map of North America as a
background with a "radar" technique repeating itself over and over on
the map...just for effect. Any ideas/techniques would be gratefully
appreciated. I've been thinking about this off and on for about a month.
