Well,
on the one hand there are some really remarkable renders there, good art
work. On the other hand, I knew Patricks both new landscapes, and for me the
last is definitly a masterpiece.
So there are two possbilities: It was send after the time, so it will appear
in the next month ---- well, I think, Patrick is able to see, whether the
time for sending in was over or not,
or, the judges of DAZ really thought, that the renders were not good enough.

Okay, lets think a bit about those rules (forget about the DAZ content this
time, all is said about that ago):
30 renders a selected...
What does that mean? Well, that means, no matter how good or bad, it is a
selection from what is offered, the 30 best. So if there were send in 31
renders, all to do is, to deselect one. If there were send in 1030 renders,
1000 will be deselected, no matter about the qualtiy.
I hope this simply calculation makes it clear: It a bit of roulette to send
in an image. It does not only depend on the quality, but also on the
sendings of the actual month. Of course, this rule alone will keep me away
from sending in an image. ,
Second: The thumbnail dimensions
I am mostly working (at time) for a cinema productions (16:9). It makes not
much sens, to send in a wide landscape, to present it then in a thumb
dimensions which is ment for figures.
And of course: As long, as GeoControl is not in the list of used software,
..............................
I think, they (the DAZ crew) just want to get fast some artwork for their
new product. This is understandable.....
But for the future and the new site, were are waiting for, it should change.
