After you click the Thickness tool on the Surface Modeling tab, you should see
a field labeled Num of poi on the Properties panel on the right-hand side of
the screen. You can type 4 into that field, or use the slider bar next to it to
change the value to 4.

 How the "h" "e" double hockey sticks (figure it out)
 do you manipulate the number of points.

 I'm trying the window tutorial thats included in the pdf and I've
 looked up the number of points in the manual but it doesnt work.
 the manual says to use + or - on the numric keys to increase the
 number but it only does the selection?
