Some parts of the manual show the interface from version 1. All of
those tools are there in different places. A lot of them are in the
right click menu, mainly selection tools. Also the individual tools
have dropdowns with a tiny arrow on the icon. The working plane
settings are under the "properties" tab in the "scene" section. The
materials and shading domain sections can be accessed through the
small arrow at the left side of the edge of the screen, if you don't
have both of them then reset preferences.
