Well that's good news for the guys in France and I'm happy for them. I hope
we don't see a repeat of the P6 SDK next year though. I think that was kind
of messed up all around. I hope this year everybody wins in this. The cost
of P5 and C5 are not exactly back-breakers either alone or together and a
lot of users like myself have no problem supporting both when you compare
all of the combined features to a single higher end package with modules
etc... Each program has their strengths and weaknesses and in a perfect
world they could compliment each other instead of fighting it out tooth and
nail or competing head on.

More choices, more variety of features, less cost and a greater user base
could bring good fortune to all.

Thanks for letting us know Bob.

Steven

Subject: [Carrara] e frontier buys Amapi Pro

The announcement will come out shortly, but e frontier has bought
Amapi Pro from Eovia Europe along with the developers. We are not
sure at this point what conflict this may create, but we want to
assure everyone that DAZ will approach this in a professional manner.
We will let the community know if this poses any kinds of issues
moving forward.

Regards,
Bob
