Well, that's good to hear because one to the factors that is also
missing from the Yahoo forum vs. DAZ forum equation is *ease-of-use*.
I know that I am a "Web only" member and read and respond to all my
Yahooo Group posts from the Web site.  And I am one who usually does
not like forum structures, but the flexibility of the Yahoo Group
design makes it very easy for me to navigate through posts, lightning
fast.  However, I can't say this for when I visit the DAZ forums.
They are just not set up for speedy reading and browsing.  So even
though the statistics seems interestingly high for the "web only"
option, the fact is is that a member, when they wish to, can easily
log into the site and catch up on posts they are interested in without
much ado.  If this were not the case, then I would then most likely
have to resort to using the "email only" system.

But another reason why many people may choose the "web only" option is
because the size of the Group.  With 2500 members, we have heavy
traffic flows at times, so it makes managing posts much more easy by
using the web option so that when a member signs on and finds a post
that he or she is interested in, they can then forward it to their
email address, or use the "Save Page" option in their browser to save
it.  However, if we were, say, just 100 members, I am almost certain
that 80-90% of those members would be using the email option
exclusively.  At least that is what I notice with my other Yahoo
Groups that I am a member of.

Well, just my $.02 :)

Cheers.
