Ahem. C5 doesn't include any DCG Plugins. There are some
similarities like with the fake fesnel in Shader Ops verus C4's built
in function.
Anything Grooves is similar to the Displacement mapping in Carrara,
but people with objects in a library that contain Anything Grooves
would still need that plug-in to use those objects.
In Shader's Plus, there is antiscopic lighting. This is in C5.
Replica, from Inagoni, is similar to the replicator feature in C5, but
there are a couple of options in replica that isn't in C5 (and C5's
has a few features, like instancing, that Replica doesn't do which is
really good).
Overall, the need to plugins is pretty much the same as it was in
prior versions.
