Actually, what I am noticing is that the character *is* at first
sighting along the top of his weapon, but then as time progresses,
fires at lower postions along his body.  With this movement, I get the
impression that he first tries to get an accurate hit on his target.
Then he sees that it is not having the results that he is looking for
and is losing confidence in his effectiveness, hence the weapon being
continually lowered to a less sighted position (the character even
looks away from his target towards the end, as if he is saying, "hey,
nothing is happening...this isn't getting me anywhere.").  

Personally, I like the subtle movements.  I feel that the metal object
that is obscuring his right foot needs to be either repositioned or
eliminated, but other than that, a very nice job of mocap-ing.
