Back I did a simple physics test of two interlocking rings, with caustics. http://www.thebest3d.com/carrara/index.html#wakeup Done in Carrara 5 but I'm sure it's all the same possible in C4 and even CS3.
Note again how small the file size is of the looping animation in the left-hand quicktime player. Only about 28 kb. Using H.263 compression codec, from Quicktime 6.
I also used one of the terrain presets and made a fly-over anim for a short banner for a Xtivity ad, It's the banner near the top of this page: http://www.thebest3d.com/carrara/resources.html
a bit blurry on the final, as I added ghosting with Dogwaffle and the compression is very high (low quality), though still not good enough. I might try this in Quicktime just to show the better quality original if I can locate it.
