I guess I uploaded that file too fast withouth thorough testing. The tripod
completerly
blocks the cameras, giving you a black render. Either move the cameras forward
or make
the tripod invisible until I update the file.

The cameras are too far appart for this setup. I found a good chart for spacing/
distance.focal length ratios at http://www.mineralarts.com/stereo/howto.html

Several sites recommend keeping the cameras parallel instead of converging.
Since your
eyes converge on an object when you look at it, I think the cameras should too.
