Indeed.  Carrara 5 Pro is a major upgrade as far as I'm concerned.  
The manipulators in the vertex modeler sealed the deal with me.  
I've been waiting for them for quite a while since I like to model
in perspective view. (I never could get the hang of working in a 4
pane view.)  I know manipulators seem like such a small thing
compared to all the other great features that have been added to
Carrara but that alone kept me from being able to model worth a crap
in the VM.

It's appearant to me that Eovia is serious about Carrara and that
makes me excited about their products.  So much so, in fact, that I
went ahead and bought Hexagon anyway, even though I do the bulk of
my modeling in Silo, just because...
